I recently restored and updated Nate's bike, know as the Green Aero. This frame is from the original prototype molds and was built in Natick Mass, probably in 1989 or so. Nate is attending Lees McCrae college in Banner Elk, NC and is on the bike and running teams. He will put the bike to good use there staying in shape for various racing disciplines.

Bo mauled the competition in the 15-19 age group at the 3rd annual Du The Bear Duathlon at Bear Creek Park West of Houston on October 19th. He finished the 2 mile run, 12.8 mile bike and 2 mile run course in 1:01:59.1 for 1st out of 9 competitors, about 2m 37sec ahead of 2nd. He was 21st overall out of about 300 racers. Bo had an excellent first triathlon on October 12th, 2008. it was Try Andy's Tri in Sugarland Texas near Houston. The distances were a 300 meter swim, 10 mile bike and 3 mile run. He finished 3rd of 11 in the 15-19 age group with a 55:50.2. He was 43rd overall out of about 620 individual competitors. He had the fastest bike split in his age group at 24.1 mph. Clemson University in northwestern South Carolina hosted the 2008 SECCC Mountain Bike Conference Championship. Hannah and I both raced every event which included short track, downhill, and dual slalom on Saturday and cross country on Sunday. It was an action packed weekend full of nonstop racing.
The team trailer fully loaded with racing machines.
Several teams were in our hotel, and things got pretty crazy the night before the race.
