Red Hook Criterium around the internet

Hey there gang – the Red Hook Criterium (RHC II) burst onto the internet this weekend and has made quite a splash appearing in the NY Times, Digg, and Youtube (see below) and many other sites (urbanvelo, Bike Blog NYC, Bike Blog NYC press release, Prolly is Not Probably) just to name a few…

Scope the race video aove and watch our own DA win the sprint for 2nd place and view a Sam Trimble sighting toward the end. Nice work DA – your race is making a great name for itself.

Great job Dave! Looks like your race got a lot of press. I bet it’ll be even bigger next year.

Second interview with Dave August (DA) on Bike Blog NYC posted today! http://www.bikeblognyc.com/?p=2613

    Dave,

Great job organizing and racing! I really had fun riding the race except for my flat on lap 13. Unbelievable how this race captured the imagination of NY City! You’ve got more name recognition now in the Big Apple than most movie stars. I’m really proud of you! To anyone reading this, you have to make this event next year. The combination of the race and after party is the most fun you’ll ever have at a bike race!
